Biography
Dr. Md Mostafa Kamal Sarker is a Senior Research Fellow at Noble Group, Biomedical Image Analysis (BioMedIA), Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME), Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford. His research expertise is in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision (CV), machine learning (ML), and deep learning (DL). Dr. Mostafa has several years of experience in deep learning for image classification, object detection, and instance segmentation in computer vision and biomedical image analysis domains.
Dr. Mostafa has published 38 peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals and national/international conference proceedings during the 12 years of his research career. He has successfully solved several challenging tasks in the field of health informatics and biomedical image analysis.
Dr. Mostafa is an Associate and a Review Editor at the "Image Capture" and "Image Processing" in the "Frontiers in Imaging", respectively. He is also a Guest Editor in a Special Issue, "Advances and Applications of Deep Learning Methods and Image Processing", at the journal "Big Data and Cognitive Computing". Dr. Mostafa is an AC & Rev Selection Chair in The British Machine Vision Conference (BMVC) 2023, UK.
Dr. Mostafa is a Member of The British Machine Vision Association (BMVA).
