Hilal joined the IBME in August 2025, having previously worked in the Oncology Department at the University of Oxford, where she supported AI medical imaging projects within the National Consortium of Intelligent Medical Imaging (NCIMI).

She brings commercial experience in the AI medical imaging sector, alongside expertise in analytics and project management. Her previous experience also includes roles at Nielsen and Aston Martin Lagonda.

Hilal holds an MSc in International Strategic Management from Oxford Brookes University and a BA in Primary Teacher Education from Dokuz Eylül University in Türkiye.
