Katharine holds a BA and MSci in Natural Sciences, specialising in Materials Science, from the University of Cambridge. She joined BUBBL as a doctoral student in 2025, with a research focus on ultrasound-mediated delivery of bacteriophages for therapeutic applications. This work is supervised by Prof Eleanor Stride and Prof Robert Carlisle as part of the ‘Beyond Antibiotics’ programme grant.
