Professor Pengfei Jia is currently an academic visitor in the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. He has been recognized as Hebei Provincial Outstanding Overseas Training Expert, Hebei Provincial “three-three-three Talent Project” (Third Level), Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Talent “Double Hundred and Double Thousand” Program, Hebei Provincial Judicial Appraisal Expert and Shijiazhuang Municipal Distinguished Expert.

His research focuses on Biomedical Materials and Innovative Drugs. He has led 6 Provincial-Level projects, including the Hebei Major Science and Technology Support Program, the Central Government-Guided Local Science and Technology Development Fund and the Hebei Province High-Level Talent Fund. He has also directed 9 Municipal‑Level projects, 16 Enterprise-Funded Research projects, with total research funding exceeding 15.53 million RMB. He has published 38 papers in journals such as J. Org. Chem. and J. Energy Inst., and holds 7 authorized invention patents. He has received the China Invention Association-Invention Entrepreneurship Achievement Award (Second Prize) and the Shijiazhuang Mountain Area Entrepreneurship Award (Third Prize).

His current professional roles are as follows:

Director of Shijiazhuang Chemical Fiber Technology Innovation Center and Deputy Director of Shijiazhuang Rapid In‑Vitro Diagnostics Industrial Technology Research Institute.
