Non-oncology imaging research on the gastrointestinal (GI) tract includes collaborations with clinical partners on AI-based endoscopy video analysis to quantify inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and automated analysis of liver MR, and infectious disease epidemiologists on ultrasound of the liver for detection of schistosomiasis.
Computational modelling interests include functional modelling of the lung including a recent long-COVID study based on analysis of thoracic computed tomography and hyperpolarised Xenon-129 magnetic resonance imaging (HP Xe MRI) scans.
