Brianna Przywozny is a 2026 Marshall Scholar and began her DPhil in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford’s Institute of Biomedical Engineering in October 2026. She graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University in May 2025 with her BS in Biomedical Engineering and in December 2025 with her MS in Biomedical Engineering.

During her time at Columbia, Brianna was a researcher in the Biomaterials and Interface Tissue Engineering Laboratory, where she supported the development of scaffold systems for integrative articular cartilage regeneration in osteoarthritis and modeled stress distributions at the osteochondral interface. Most recently, Brianna worked as a scientist at AbbVie in the R&D Tissue Materials Sciences Regenerative Medicine Group.

At Oxford, Brianna is conducting research under the supervision of Prof. Cathy Ye and Prof. Zhanfeng Cui within the Tissue Engineering Group.
