The recent availability of databases representing thousands of subjects is opening up new, exciting possibilities for healthcare research at population level. AI has a central role to play in this endeavour.
We are developing tools to analyse information in large, multimodal datasets such as the UK Biobank. We are applying these methods for multiple purposes, e.g. obtaining a better understanding of natural variability in human anatomy and physiology or estimating the risks of several diseases depending on individual characteristics.
